My name is Jeremy, and I'm based in South Wales. I have been an Ebay member since March 2007, but only started selling in earnest a year or two after that. I have sold numerous kinds of products since then, the first being watches. But, in the last few years, I have moved into leather-working, producing a range of small to medium sized items, including belt pouches, bags, wallets and key fobs. The vast majority of the leather items I sell are the fobs, as you can see from my listings. Every one you see is designed by myself. Also, every leather item...without exception...is 100% hand made. At no stage are any machines used, from start to finish. Not many leatherworkers can honestly claim this! Perfect replacement
My original controller (identical to this one) had become very "sticky" in action i.e. I had to press each button VERY hard and long for it to do anything. I cleaned the PCB inside, which worked for a brief spell, but when I found this replacement on Ebay at just over £4 (inc. P&P), it was a no-brainer! I put the batteries in, and it worked perfectly from the start...no setting up at all. I definitely recommend this item!

Over-rated, and doesn't deliver. Blunts quickly, and would get expensive to keep in blades.
I ordered this item after hearing many good reviews about it from other leatherworkers. The blade was indeed very sharp when new but, before even finishing cutting panels for a medium sized shoulder bag (5-6oz veg tan), it had significantly lost it's sharpness, and considerable effort had to be made to cut through the leather (and I am definitely not weak!). Because of the sheer pressure required to make the cuts, it meant I was not confident in maintaining accuracy, so I reverted to my trusty Stanley knife. I have lost faith in this over-rated item, and am reluctant to use it again. If I do use it on another project, I will find generic blades to replace the original, as I believe they are not cheap. Cheap in quality, yes, but not in price. It was a toss between this and a Fiskars; I wish I'd gone for that one.

Great gloss black spray!
I've gone through several of these tins (not far off a dozen), whilst restoring my motorcycle...a couple of years ago, and just the last few weeks. I've used it to spray the frame, various brackets, footrest hangers and so on. It is very easy to use, very forgiving (no spits etc.), and really does give a very high gloss finish, even if you are no expert. It gives a good thickness, even from the first coat. In fact, it is very possible to get away with only one coat, depending on the item you are spraying. I have worked as a powder coater for over 10 years, and one product we use is a RAL 9005 full gloss, which gives exceptional results. This Plastikote spray is virtually indistinguishable from the powder coat, even to the trained and experienced eye, it really is that good. On my bike, I powder coated the rear footrest hangers, but had to spray the front ones, as there were plastic/rubber bushes that could not be easily removed, and would not have survived the stoving process. But despite being quite close together on the bike, you cannot tell the difference. The only gripe I have about this product (and it's a minor one) is that it takes a very long time to fully cure, even in warm conditions...I did the first lot of work on my bike during a quite warm spell a couple of summers ago, but it was still “thumbnail” after a few weeks. But as long as what you are spraying does not have to come into contact with anything as such, it isn't a problem. In summary, I definitely recommend this product, and I can't imagine finding a rattle can that is a better quality gloss than this one, especially at this price.
