Expensive waste of money....
more definition to pictures....outlines none existent and too pale...found it very hard to pick out the shapes etc....
To me it looks like beautiful paintings and pictures have been copied with the ink almost run out....hardly any picture there to colour.....

Small easy to carry or fit in handbag.
A fabulous story, but tragic...tells of the stuff ups by the high ups and of the outstanding bravery of the ordinary soldier forced into a situation that was none of his making....only young boys in many cases.....never having even fired a gun and having to fight a hopeless battle and sacrifice themselves...Also show the courage of the everyday man in the street when called on to fight for their existence.
A very good read which fascinates me....
For me, in this edition I am finding it hard to read due to the small print but I have read it a few times before so I do know the story....
For anyone reading for first time, read it and then go to Singapore and see the actual sites.....well worth the trip...
Everything good, but easy to say because I love Singapore and its story.....
