Excellent unit
After using many of the different aviation and marine panel mounted units, and hand held Garmins for many years; from Aviation units 89 & 92, 2 different Etrex units, an Oregon and a Marine 76 Map for many years this is a very easy next step. Faster processing than the 76 map. Faster satellite acquisition. Love the color screen even visible in midday sun in New Mexico desert! Blows the Etrex units out of the water, a far better unit, yeah larger but 100 times more durable and better layout As always with Garmin well built, intuitive menus, great value. Yeah I like it better than the Oregon... I am a professional user, commercial Pilot with more than 3000 hours Alaska time, boat captain and a professional wilderness guide for more than 30 years.
