The most 'feel-good' movie ever
Local Hero ecapsulates 80s feel good. This charming film has an ethereal magic about it, augmented by Mark Knopfler's beautiful sondrtrack. Its uniquness and cult status can only be matched by such greats as Withnail and I. Best enjoyed with a few whiskys (or your favourite tipple), it will enchant and uplift you, and make you chuckle along the way too.

Continuing my Barnaby binge
Since lockdown started I've been binging on Midsomer Murders. There's nothing like staying up late watvching this in bed - or poppingit on in the morning with tea and waffles!

Swift delivery of a childhood favourite!
Favourite childhood film. Suddenly had an urge to see it again while hunkered down in isolation. It was wonderful to receive it so swiftly. I remember my mum renting this on VHS for me when I was little, I can still recall the smell of the video store - all that delicious plastic! Just opening up the parcel and seeing the cover art brought back a beautiful torrent of memeories :)
