Difficult to use as intended
The basic mechanism is easy to set up but the front stick pads don't work and to use it in long sweeping motions is almost impossible as the section the stone is in lifts up if constant downward pressure isn't applied.
Also it is impossible to sharpen thin knives without manually holding it as the grip isn't strong enough to hold it flat and the stone hits the metal plate before the knife's edge. I also had to remove the plastic strip to protect the knife as it constantly got in the way of the stone.
