MICHAEL KORS MK3511 Jaryn Gold-Tone & Tortoise Watch 38mm MFG WARRANTY

Beauity is skin deep.

I'm not an angry or dissatisfied consumer, but a watch collector. I have 2 other Michael Kors watches, and I bought this one to replace an older tortoise shell watch with an entire plastic band that broke. The watch is very beautiful and stylish and I'm not one for a lot of "bling," so no issue there, and I hoped since Fossil took over the MK watch brand that the issue of a cheap, thin, clasp was fixed (as it was an another gold MK watch I have). It was not. The exact same cheaply made clasp just ruined it for me. Since the rising popularity of MK watches, resale and sale values have held steady... but for this much money, I can buy a luxury time piece that has far better quality. I wear everything from Baume et Mercier, Ebel, Movado, ESQ... so I know enough to know this was too much for too little. On a side note, the clasp on my much-loved "chain link" tortoise watch, was very nice and solid, however I cannot wear it because it was plastic and broke. My advice: if it's for a teenager, sure, it would be a very nice timepiece... but if you're looking for quality, Definitely keep looking, you won't find it in this model.
