Instruction manual suggestion !!!
Only 1 suggestion in the instructions.... I had fitted the seal without removing the door.. and when at first I tried to close the door it would not properly close... hopelessly ajar and would not seal. ...I searched the net for a clue what was wrong..... aha.. the suggestion the washer under the door on the hinge might be the problem....
I removed both doors and .. voila ! My old Amana ( about 25 years ) unknown to me had the washer under the big door completely worn away.. gone... the metal and screw in the location was also worn quite badly...
A visit to Bunnings, and with a packet of 1/2" holed nylon washers, slipped one on the hinge , gently pushed the door and it sealed perfectly... like new !
Can I suggest you include this on your instructions !
