Will not activate high idle for AC
0 of 1 found this helpful this solonoid is not strong enough to raise the idle speed on it's own when AC compressor kicks in. I have to tap the gas pedal to raise the RPM to keep the engine from stalling. I even removed 1 of the 2 return springs and still will not pick up the throttle. I can watch the brass nut/post pop out and try to push the linkage but does not have enough power. I purchased the name brand "Holley" solonoid which is significantly more expensive than the aftermarket expecting it to be better. It does not work. What do I have to do to make my AC work without stalling the engine?
