These things are a steal at this price and can convert easily to a probe type with a little effort
Great thermometer even though the calibration is well past the expiration date. I got 3 of them and and they read identically making me think the calibration has not changed as it is unlikely they would drift identically.
You can turn this into a nice probe thermometer by breaking apart the cap and removing the glue and the temp probe comes free of the bottle. Set to fast read mode (and hit reset as instructed when this is changed) and it is a great lab thermometer for for a bargain price. Not s single problem with any of the 3 and easy to use if you read the instructions included.
