Great timepiece but luminous dial(s) don’t appear to illuminate.

It is a beautiful watch and I’m happy with it overall … one thing I have an issue with is the so-called “luminous dial” … I can be in direct sunlight for some time but the dial does not illuminate when going indoors. Its description; “… showcases a champagne dial, luminous hands, central second, and moon phase functionality.” I have had the watch about a month now, hoping the dial(s) light up but unfortunately this doesn’t appear to be happening … oh, well.
