Malfunctioning DVD Set

Not all of the episodes on the discs work. The first episode on disc one worked, but episodes two and three did not. I haven't bothered to check the rest, because I want to watch the episodes in order. I clean my DVD player regularly, and have not had this problem with other DVDs.
