"Renaissance in Gold"
The 1914 Indian Head ($2.50) Quarter Eagle is a prime example of American coin "renaissance" which was from 1908 beginning with the Indian Head ($2.50) Quarter Eagles and the Indian Head ($5.00) Half Eagles to 1921 ending with the timeless Peace Silver Dollars. I believe President Theodore Roosevelt was the catalyst for this "rebirth" in American coinage. The coin reflects the P.C.G.S. grade of AU 58, i.e., very nice "eye appeal." The intrinsic value is nice as well--"good as gold." Thank you coinsandpaper. Sincerely, jgaudreault3574

In the great tradition of Julius Caesar...
This coin exceeded my expectations of an AU 55 graded coin by PCGS. Its more closely to an MS 62. It has nice brilliance and shine. And it looks safe and secure as well as very attractive in its protective case by PCGS.
