2 of 2 found this helpful I have an older iMac, mid-2010 with 16 GB of RAM, and run PreSonus Studio One 3 Professional recording software on it. The iMac has a Firewire connection and that is why this particular DI design was of interest to me. I connected/chained this unit to 2 other identical units that I bought new. It works as expected. For the price these digital interface units are a great choice when you are seeking a multi-input/output device. This allows me to leave various studio devices connected all the time rather than plugging/unplugging those devices as I need them.
Using a PreSonus DI with the PreSonus Studio One 3 Professional software works great. No compatibility issues at all. None! Thus the whole set up was easy to manage and problem free.
