I have always loved Native American jewelry, pots, rugs. I grew up in Flagstaff, AZ and worked at a Indian Curio /Pawn shop when I was 18. I learned all the stories about Kachinas, the names of the different turquoise, the turquoise mines. I admired the craft of weaving the Indian rugs and learned where different rug patterns originated from.
