A must have for me

Got this to test some old M42 mount lenses with some amazing results. Do I honesty need the zeiss 55mm 1.8 at £600 now. Did a test against a Carl Zeiss 50mm 1.8 that cost £30 Against the £600 Zeiss 55mm on a Sony A7s and although the £600 lens was slightly sharper it was not £570 sharper.
