A better than expected , useful tool.

The heating element is close to the tip.
It takes 23-28 seconds (fully charged - near flat eneloops nimh) from 20C temperature to start melting SN60-PB40 wire. Draws 1.35A@6v , 1.1A@4.8v (external voltage source)
Despite its low wattage , it can deal with thick cables and large ground traces if you allow some time to store energy between soldering. Small surfaces can be soldered rapidly.
Very good Tip protective cap that stays in place.

Tip replacement is relative expensive but it makes sense as it includes the heating element.
No indication of "ready to solder" and battery state.
