better than a bar heater
Yep. Received mine today. Set it up. Bought kero, lit it up. I forgot all about kero heaters till recently. We used one in the 1950s. I was using a massive triple bar electric heater which I had to sit right on top of to stay warm. Turned this baby on and immediate radiant warmth. My house has a lot of air leaks (wood and went through a flood a while ago) so I can't wear a muu-muu while it's on, that's for sure. I really like it. A beautiful design (into good design) and very well made. Really GOOD instruction sheet as well. Important. Kero is exxy of course, but so is electricity and firewood. I like it a lot. Made in Japan. Low odour, but I splurged and bought 4 litres of low odour kero. $37.00. Won't do that again. Will buy the big drum of ordinary kero next time. Happy with my purchase. The cat likes it as well.
