Awesome Value
Great knife for the price. Factory edge is very good. Opening and closing action is great. No blade movement when fully open. Liner lock works perfect. A few little cosmetic imperfections, but it's $13!!! So far it's retaining it's edge. Some kind of stainless. Overall a great value workhorse knife. 2 hands to open and close? I don't think so. Flick the thumb stub with the top of your thumb nail (like you're giving the thumbs up sign) and it snaps fully open and locked. Liner lock, so easy to close one handed.

Blunt crappy edge
The finish on the edge was terrible. There was some tiny chips out of the cutting edge. I stoned it and stropped it, cutting is still not great. Seemed to get a burr rolling over on my 1000 grit diamond, which is unusual at such a high grit. Does that indicate it's not very hard? I don't know. I bought it for rope work, the marlin spike is fine, but I don't want to need 2 knives to splice a rope. I will sharpen the edge again and see how it goes, but my first impression is bad. I will upgrade this review if the next sharpening goes well

Great starter pick kit.
These picks are surprisingly good quality. Made of spring steel. These are a perfect beginner's kit, much better than the gold coloured kit with plastic handles. By the time you wear these out you will be wanting a brand name kit anyway.
