Lightweight, wrong color, overpriced but serviceable

The picture shows the item is green, but the one received was black.... No big deal, but the green is preferable to industrial black, and was what I expected for nearly thirty bucks.. For the $28.00 price tag, I expected a beefy unit. The design is simple, with two thin plastic identical top and bottom panels connected by four plastic tubes. Construction was brain dead simple, and the result is adequate, but certainly not overdesigned, and it feels flimsy for such a costly unit. To remain standing, the unit should be screwed into a nearby wall (self tapping screws are included) Bottom line: Skimpy construction and wrong color and inflated price cost two rating stars. It is serviceable but WAY OVERPRICED. I'd put its real world value at $15 shipped.

Useful accessory for mini iPad

Entering text on a mini iPad is a pain, and since this had both a cover and a keyboard, and the price was decent, it was worth trying. For a combo cover and keyboard, it is nearly perfect, with only a couple of minor glitches. I'd rate it 4.5 stars, but that's not an option, so I gave it 4... PROS Well made, good "look and feel" Well thought out design It's a cover AND a keyboard Fits iPad mini well Lightweight, thin Cover magnet turns iPad mini ON and OFF Magnetic bar on iPad engages keyboard surface, allowing the screen to be set at a useful angle Can be turned on and off, saving battery if not needed, and not entering text when screen is folded flat CONS Making the iPad fold over on the cover and lie flat for reading isn't intuitive, but can be done Keyboard is small, but that's due to the size of the iPad With no trackpad or mouse, developing the movements and habits to use an integrated keyboard with a touch screen has a learning curve. iPad controls and camera are accessible and usable, but volume controls are not easily reached, and the upper right hand power switch is a plastic button that isn't confidence inspiring. (-0.5 star)

Adds utility to the Lyman multi-station case trimmer

I installed this adapter on a Lyman Case Prep Express and it added a whole new function to an already useful unit. A bit spendy, but the long term utility makes it worth the cost.
