Good product - Does everything it claims.
So far this seems better than the Capresso which we replaced twice. Once was due to to grinder dying after 2-3 years. We replaced it with a reconditioned unit which lasted another couple of years before the heating element died. Poor reviews of newer Capressos led us to better ratings for Cuisinart.
This new Cuisinart unit seems more solid. It's quieter and fits under kitchen cabinet.
Only (small) thing I don't like is my wife fixes her coffee later than me so she makes hers separately. With previous unit she just added water and ground another cup (she likes it strong). This unit detects there are grounds already in the unit and will not grind again until they are cleared. That's a good feature but a bit of a pain the way we use it. Work-around is simply to open door and fool the machine by picking up the basket holding the older grounds for a few seconds, replacing it and closing the door. She then adds water and grinds enough for another cup.
Works fine.
