Canon printer inks
In the past I tried the generic equivalents/refills.
They did not seem to last as long.
They had a tendency to smudge.
Photos printed tended to fade in under a year.
I will always buy the Canon refills in future.
When bought on Ebay, I do not think they can be fakes due to the marking and packaging.

Olympus ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Lens
2 of 2 found this helpful I recently bought an Olympus E410 camera to replace my Nikon D40.
It is much lighter, smaller and better. I conducted comparison tests with the two cameras and lenses and found that the E410 and its lenses are significantly better on every count other than flash performance.
I like the 4/3 system format and lens reach so I bought the Olympus ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Lens because of it's effective range of 140-600mm!
It is a superb lens for the money. It's performance even at 300mm is outstanding.
I compared it in detail with photos at 300mm made with my Nikon D90 and Nikkor 70-300mm ED lens.
It is much better!
I am a devout Nikoner and have been very pleasantly surprised by Olympus lens quality.

A perfect lens
2 of 2 found this helpful I had one of these lenses before and sold it with my old E-510. In going over my old photos I realized how great a performer it is, particularly at the longer focal lengths.
I now have it permanently on a E-420 and carry this great combo on all trips.
It is better quality and lighter than my Nikon lenses.
It covers the range of 36 to 360 mm in standard 35mm terms and I would need a combo of two nikon lenses to be the equivalent. I hate to have to change lenses in the field. I also love the four thirds format
