the lens itself is OK
Ok. it was advitised to be Australian stock and it turned out to be shipped from HK with a HK warranty which could be a problem if I want to get it repaired by Nikon Australia. Secondly the lens has a slightly front focus issue on my D40 camera. I can just use smaller aperture to avoid this issue, also it could be a problem of my camera so I am ok with that.
