A magical realm to visit *or revisit*
1 of 1 found this helpful I am still reading this book but it is defiantly a keeper. I have read the take on others ideas of this book and 'traditional' runes. If you are HARDCORE sold on a specific set of runes, you may not enjoy this book. As with the Faery realm itself, you must have an open heart and mind. If you want to critique the authors view of runes from Elfland, than you are wasting your time. Keep with what works for you and don't bother to read this book because It will not touch you in the way it is intended. If you ARE open in the heart and mind to the Faery realm, you are in for a treat. You will have laid your hands on yet another treasure by Froud!

Pure Moods is Pure heaven to listen to
1 of 1 found this helpful There is such beautiful music on this CD. We put it in the CD player EVERY night to go to sleep by. It gives you and idea on music you may want to further enjoy. I've never paid much attention to Yani.Having now experienced his music, I will look into what else he has to offer.I was also reminded of how much I love George Winston's piano. There is nobody like him!

A perfect witches primer
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been a practicing witch for a long time. This book covers what it is about. Psychology. The mind. It's strengths and weaknesses and how to strengthen your weaknesses in your personality. I also appreciated the visualization techniques. I do find, however, that Nancy Watson seems to make things a bit 'overdone' in the safety aspect of magic. I felt there was alot of fear and mistakes she tried to convey to her readers. I found myself feeling sorry for her in that she didn't have the guidance or something else that may have been missing in her early stages and resulted in bad experiences for her. I have had this book for a long time and many copies because I have lent my copies out and not had them returned! I look at that as a good thing, but I don't lend it out anymore. I find myself going back to it often to reference and to remind. The personal stories that the author uses are very useful as well. I also found some things out of my reach. The God/Goddess symbol. I understand it better than I did some time ago, but it isn't something that I can relate to. Don't let this 'turn you off' It has many facets to it. I suggest exploring it all.
