Great plane for the $$$ paid.

Worked out of the box. But, still need to tune in to get it better. Sole was reasonably flat, put no more than 3 minutes getting the outside perimeter and front to clean up, the area behind mouth is still dipped, I don’t care. Back of iron I spent 15 minutes getting it flat for 3/4”. Bevel on iron took another 10 minutes plus fine honing time. Cap needed 5 to 10 minutes to get it flat. I took the frog off and found 2 small burrs which I filed off. Put it back together, done. Works nicely.

Easy to use and helpful in grilling to right temp.

I am happy with this thermometer. Just turn it on and stick it in what I am grilling. I found out that “ on more minute” can be a big difference between done, not done or over cooked.

Good product

The key cover is much better than the dongle thing Can-am provides. Per the instructions you need to grind or sand off a small amount from the holder so that you can open the frunk and seat in the key-depressed state. I glued mine with small dabs of 2 part epoxy. No more fumbling for keys, or worse, leaving your ignition key in the bike.
