As for detailed road maps, Michelin is the standard of excellence.

The map meets Michelin's very high standards, offering very detailed, practical, and useful information unobtainable through on-line cartographic products, although some on-line maps are useful as generally quick references. They just don't rise to the excellent standards of a Michelin product. Value is good assuming a folding map of a particular region or country is what you want. I happen to find easy to use folding road maps preferable if obtainable.
