Fabulous version of a timeless classic
Many people may not nowadays, very sadly, know the story of Christ's birth. This version certainly takes a fresh spin on it, simply because guinea-pigs are used to portray the characters. There is nothing to dislike about this book, unless you don't like guinea-pigs, in which case you probably wouldn't buy it. The content is sound and the pictures adorable. Would definitely recommend for children- it is abeautifully made small book. A perfect stocking filler!

Good for guinea-pigs!
4 of 4 found this helpful For the money, this is good. It is a decent size for guinea-pigs, but would only be large enough for baby or mini bunnies. My husband has secured the ramp and put an extra bit of wood under the slide out tray (which forms the base of the nesting area) as this proved tricky to pull out and was not very firm without the extra wood. I love the fact that the wire is not chicken wire and fully coated so it can't rust or prod the animals. It was despatched quickly and was easy to assemble. It is not heavy, so easy to move around the garden to find fresh grass. As it is rather lightweight, my husband has decided to secure it to the ground with tent pegs so that curious dogs and windy weather can't move it! Would definitely recommend. My husband said he could not have made this hutch for the price we paid for it.
