Much better than motherboard's built in sound driver.
I bought this to find out if I'd notice the difference in sound quality over the sound driver built into my mother board(MSI Z270 Tomahawk). Overall the sound quality is significantly better on the Logitech 506 5.1 speaker set I'm using. This is the first dedicated sound card I've ever used, so I can't compare against other sound cards. The driver for the card didn't automatically install on Windows 10, so I did have to go to Creative's website to download the driver software. The Audigy Fx software for the card is easy to use and customize my sound with.
