A Panoramic View
With so many versions of scripture to choose from, KJV remains the standard IMO. Having the Amplified version - verse to verse, side by side - opens for me a panoramic view from the original texts that I otherwise may have missed.

Attractive and Durable
Perfect for work or shopping. I can carry my basics and have what I need ON me. With 5 asst sized pockets I easily fit my phone (I have a flip phone), eyeglasses, keys, wallet, a small pad and pen. I like the camo color especially. I bought this one to replace my last one -also a camo eXtreme Pak - that lasted 3 years of hard, daily use. I used it on the farm and shopping. It fit nicely in my handbag too so I could have it ready to snap on and run and not have to carry a heavy bag all the time. I bought another color but prefer this camo so now I have two :) One for work and one for shopping! Great product. Love it!

Wonderful clarity in these two translations
I have been and continue to be a King James Bible reader - though I have kept several other translations to also read. I have also kept a version of the Amplified Bible close at hand for daily reading for many years and was just going to replace my well worn paperback and saw this parallel Bible. I have not read the NASB version for some time and never owned a copy so decided to order this. I am finding this NASB translation is very clear and concise and as I need to see a bit clearer the Amplified then brings the nuances of the Hebrew and Greek text into focus as needed. I believe that the Word of God is understood by the Spirit of God so do not suggest that any Bible be read just for "information about" God since that which is written is written by the Holy Spirit who used men to record what He wants us to know about everything that matters and so must be understood spiritually and with that in mind I do find these two translations to be very helpful in my opinion.
