Actual ATA 100 IDE cables are better than this

Reserved pin is blocked off even tho in the item pictures it clearly is not. the item was also not coated with the correct coating and overall felt and looked like a nock off of the real thing

A good level of noise with 0 bad sectors

This drive is in really good condition for 1999ish. (I assume cause Quantum made it really hard to tell when a drive was manufactured) Scandisk reported 0 bad sectors and 0 reallocated sectors which is very surprising for a old drive like this. The spindle motor and bearings also don't sound heavily worn either. just loud enough to bring life into a old desktop but also quiet enough to be not concerning.
