Great value.

A very detailed book. The author has done his research well and has covered a lot of ground for both north and south hemispheres. A dark site is required to observe the fainter objects. All in all an excellent buy.

A good buy. Worth searching for.

A very good book indeed. Dated, but the basics have not changed. This was a time when amateurs made their own telescopes as the commercial market was limited and expensive. Easy to understand.
