The imagination of childhood in words and pictures
A charming invocation of the imaginative word of children in a lively verse story by Peter Bently, which is beautifully enhanced with illustrations by Helen Oxenbury. My granddaughter loved guessing that the giants were Mummy and Daddies before the story story proved her right.
