A must see if a Bronson fan, but not much to entertain you.

Whilst the actors tried hard to compensate for a weak and perhaps overcomplicated plot, the result in terms of action and thrills was disappointing.I understood the film had been a success in France and won recognition,and Bronson was an action hero to many of the French public.However,in my mind it has to be viewed once if you are a Bronson fan, but that is it.Limited entertainment, and one of Bronsons European bores in my view,

For collectors of McClean films only, but an action film with limited appeal.

I have a complete collection of all Alistair McClean DVDs as I am a great fan of the books.This means regardless of how good the film I wanted a blue ray disc for completeness.I was disappointed to find this Blue Ray version misses out at least one scene which I do have on a separate DVD so fans beware this is an edited version of the original full length film, that is now on blue ray.Its not one of the better McClean films,the film director apparently chose to ignore much of the original storyline of the book.The acting is acceptable but not that good.Therefore, it is not up there with a number of the better McClean films,but a must have for collectors.
