Invicta grand diver gen 1

Gold diver watch with mother of pearl face.
This watch is truly beautiful. It is a solid, large, piece of horological attention getter.
The watch is comfortable to wear, it's heavy weight but not so much you'd be tired of it. Many will invariably compare the grand diver watch to a Ro**x & I feel that is a mistake. The Invicta grand diver is a good solid watch in its own right.
A lot of bang for your buck? Yes :
Gold diver watch & bracelet, silver unidirectional bezel, date cyclops, mother of pearl face, automatic movement & exhibition back & a good lume which lasts pretty well.
This watch, will & does, looks great with jeans & leather jacket or a suit. I would change to a dress watch for the evening, a diver watch is not really meant for evening wear. The Invicta does pull it off though !!!
So, want a classic watch? That is pulling above its weight. That looks good smart or casual. Don't want to wear that $2000 or $3000 watch on holiday?
This is for you. A well engineered, solid, classy, eye catching time piece that will not disappoint.

Invicta grand diver
My first Invicta,
The grand diver. The watch is comfortable, classy yet bold. The watch is large yet stylish & will look great with a suit or jeans & leather jacket.
Sure, anyone will compare it to a Ro**x. I would rather take the Invicta, but it's my choice.
I am so happy, I've ordered six more various Invicta watches.
Looking for something bold? Classy? Large & eye-catching? This is for you. A real no brainer.

Vostok Komandirskie K-35 (350606)
The model 350606,
Vostok Komandirskie K-35 is a multi function watch, with some cool little features :
12:00 position : a 24hr indicator. This indicates in 24hr time the point of day - 14:00 or 09:00 or 23:00
18:00 position : date indictor. The date of the month - 21st, 9th, etc.....
Between 12:00 & 18:00 is the day/night indicator. A small square that is white in the day & graduating to black at night.
The watch is the Vostok in-house 31 jewel movement & is pretty reliable. The watch itself is comfortable to wear & begs (for those who do) for modification.
A cheap, reliable, upgradeable, comfortable timepiece for not much. Is there a catch? Well, kinda !!! The bracelet is a cost saving excersise & is functional, but not great.
The bezel is good, but can be upgraded. A new bezel with a world city insert would make a great low cost world traveler watch.
So, worth the money? Yes. Lots of features. Option to mod. Reliable movement. Low cost.
