Great Receiver At a Fair Price!

This receiver does everything I wanted it to do! I don't need Dolby Atmos or any of the other latest and greatest surround codex. The Yamaha gives me all that I need. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Small in Size, Big in Performance!

The sub is small in size but big in performance! This is no SVS or Hsu, but for those of us on a budget, this will do. it integrates perfectly with my satellite speakers. Offering beautiful sound in a small room. It will not pressurize a large space. A small bedroom...it'll do that!

Great boom in the room!

This subwoofer is an excellent value and sounds terrific. The remote is both a blessing (in that adjustments can be made from your easy chair). A curse (because you're relegated to the remote). If you lose the remote, you're sol. Plenty of power to rock the house. Sounds good for music and movies. I took a star off because the need for a working remote is absolute. If it malfunctions, you have no way to make adjustments. This is a shame. It should have controls on the sub to allow adjusting the volume anf crossover frequencies in the event the remote is lost or ceases to function.
