Beat Literature: Extended Cut
An excellent insight into two of the leading figures of the Beat generation. It was brought to my attention while reading Neal Cassady's collected letters, and is an excellent supplementary reading for a primary account of just exactly what these men thought of themselves and each other while inventing the original American counterculture.

Best Record Player for the Price
5 of 5 found this helpful This system absolutely exceeded any and all expectations I had previous to purchasing. I have a pretty cheap receiver with a decent pair of speakers, but when you throw a (clean) vinyl on this puppy, it honestly does sound better than digital. The minimal assembly and calibration took all of about 10 minutes. And not to mention, the A/D converter is almost worth the money by itself. The one thing I will say is that the audio cable that comes with it to connect it to whatever preamp or receiver you've got is only a 3 footer, so if the player is going to be a small distance from it I'd suggest grabbing one ahead of time. $10 RCA pairs can be found at any PC Dick and Sons, best buy, etc
