Half Toe Clips for bike pedals
Over time, I have installed these half toe clips to 3 bicycles in the family. Not all family members have bike shoes for clipless pedals, so these half toe clips work great with running/tennis shoes. It is easy to insert your foot and really easy to remove your foot. The key benefit is two fold. First is the confidence that your foot is not going to slip off the pedal (especially when standing up) and second is that your foot will sit in the proper position on the pedal every time. Often I see riders with the arch of their foot directly under the pedal versus the ball of their foot. These clips enable the rider to better engage their ankle into the pedal process. These clips also come in a smaller size to accommodate smaller feet/shoes.
