Michael Haller’s return won’t disappoint
I recently discovered the Mickey Haller books after buying the Lincoln Lawyer in a charity shop for a £1! After really enjoying it, I swiftly purchased the next four books from e bay and read them all in chronological order whilst recovering from hip-replacement surgery!! This is the latest in the series (I believe there is another one on the way soon) and it won’t disappoint if you enjoyed the others, or even as a stand-alone read, as all previous characters and events are explained adequately in the narrative. All the familiar faces return and there are the usual plot twists and turns together with the court room drama that I think Michael Connelly does as well as anyone. Throughly entertaining and recommended to anyone who enjoys a page turning legal thriller.
