The 1:87 Ertl collectibles
This Product is made of Diecast. It is durable but it is also heavy. This is a great show pice if your into collecting. But their are some draw backs. If your looking for Details yes it has some. But it does seem to have a Toy like look. If you are looking at this for a child’s play toy. Well it could be but their are small parts. I also would like to point out that the dry van trailer is diecast as well. This could be a bit more for a younger child. If it comes with a flatbed and small farm tractors the tractors are vary fragile and can break easily. This is mostly a Shelf pice to look at or give to that special person who has a love for big trucks or the farm tractors that the graphics may advertise For.

John Deere 5010

Here’s a small review on the Athearn John Deer 5010.
This model isn’t cheap!
This model isn’t a Toy for small children either!
Their are small parts to this model and they can break easily off the model.
This model is For collectors of fine scale model or the model railroader who is looking to fill their layout with fine scale models to add a touch more of reality to their layout.
Athearn has done a wonderful job on that with this particular model. The decals are excellent and just like the iconic tractor it resembles. The paint is flawless and the detail of this model looks well. The casting of this John Deere 5010 is one that any John Deere or 1:87 scale collector would definitely want to add to their collection.
I would recommend this model only if you are a collector or if your around the age of 12 and up.
If you are planning on getting this for a child I would definitely think twice before you purchase.
You can find a more durable toy tractor if you are looking for durability or a child’s toy.
