Excellent player, great value.
This is an excellent media player. Very small, great for workouts, but with the potential for up to 32GB of add-in memory (currently only 12G are available), big enough for an everyday player. Navigation is very natural and responsive, nothing on it bothers me so far (every other player I've used has something that bugs me). The build quality is excellent; it feels solid, like it's going to last. Even the SD slot, which often feel cruddy on other players, is solid (to be expected from SanDisk I suppose). The FM radio receives more stations than most built-in radios I've tried in other players. Integrates very well with MediaMonkey (all I've tried, since it's what I use) - the only downside is that RIGHT NOW MediaMonkey doesn't recognize the add-in card in MTP mode. I'm sure they'll fix that, it's not a problem with the player, it's a MM problem. I don't know why all players don't have a micro SD expansion slot like this one does; I look forward to expanding it by 16 or 32 GB someday; for now I have a 2GB card in there that holds my next few audiobooks. I think this player is more than a match for the iPod Nano. If you buy your player based on status, I guess get the iPod, but if you want the BEST player, this might be the right one. I can't think of a player on the market right now I'd rather have than this one, at any price. Well, except for the 8GB Fuze...
