Dominator Oval Silencer for 2018 Can Am Spyder RT Ltd. Good value
Well constructed and finished off. Sounds good with and without db killer (just a little louder).
Negative
Would be good to offer a version that can be painted, with VHT paint, by the purchaser.
The “socket” end of the joining pipe (silencer to cat. converter) to be deeper to fit more of the “ball” fitting of the pipe on the cat.
A longer spacer and a bracket, to place silencer clamp/strap closer to the centre of the silence, lengthwise, and move the silencer away from swing arm. The swing arm side of the OEM silencer is flat compared to the oval of the Dominator silencer, therefore the supplied spacer did not adequate clearance.
The last issue is the postal delivery. I purchased a cat delete pipe at the Sam time, which originated from Poland, which arrived 5 days prior to the silencer. The silencer travelled from Kansas to Hawaii, to Melbourne Victoria, to Sydney NSW, back to Melbourne and finally to Adelaide SA. WOW
