Nikon Speedlight SB-600 Shoe Mount Flash with Stand

Excellent Speedlight

A new battery leaked and ruined my previous SB600 flash. Because it was such a good speedlight I wanted to get another one but found them out of production. I was pleased to find this used one for sale. I expected to find marks on it from previous use but it was in mint condition. Most importantly, it works as it ought. It's perfect for my needs. No faults found at all.

Perfect Match For The Fat Bike

I prefer a more upright riding position, and I have two bikes. One is a fat bike and the other a regular comfort bike. The regular bike has swept back bars on it, while the fat bike had fairly straight bars. I noticed how much more comfortable the swept back bars are so I decided to get some for the fatty. So glad I did! I only ride on pavement, so these bars may not suit a mountain bike rider. I highly recommend them if you ride a fatty on pavement.

2-bolt Adjustable Seat Post Clamp

I wasn't aware of 2-bolt adjustable seat post clamps until I bought a quality fat bike. It provides micro-adjustment of the front to back saddle position, which regular seat post clamps don't. Those type of clamps have notches to lock the saddle in place. So the seat adjusts to where IT wants to go, instead of where YOU want it to go. An eighth of an inch can mean the difference between a comfortable saddle and an uncomfortable one. I have another bike with the regular saddle clamp on it which I decided to change for the 2-bolt clamp. I would never go back to the old style clamp. Another advantage of the 2-bolt clamp is that it won't come loose when you're riding. I had a regular clamp come loose while I was on a ride. Fortunately I had an adjustable wrench to tighten it. A bike isn't rideable with a loose clamp and could be dangerous while on the move causing you to fall forward or backward.
