Material is fine, but the cut is horrible

Well, I can't speak of how well the solar cover works yet as I purchased it after the heat wave and the pool was on the downside of getting cold already. The previous cover I owned was fantastic, but a little more expensive than I wanted to spend, so I opted for this unit. The shipping speed and quality was great. My only complaint at this point is that the cover is definitely not well cut. Imagine getting a 20 x 20 piece of 12mil solar cover and someone taking a pair of scissors and cutting it down to roughly 18ft round. The cuts are not smooth, nor professional looking. The cover is too big for my 18 foot round pool. It buckles all over the place, instead of resting firmly on top of the water. I imagine that I can lay it out on the grass and cut approximately 1 foot off the perimeter of it, but my plan was to plug and play. I will probably spend the extra 20 bucks next time and get the Intex cover that I previously had.
