Mopar RTV
1 of 1 found this helpful I never used RTV before when it came to sealing transmission pans. Except mopar. I used a rubber gasket that came with my filter but my 2012 grand caravan originally had no gasket when I first replaced the tranny fluid. So this time I went with OEM brand RTV to seal the trans pan. I was surprised. It works really well. No seal. It is made for sealing transmissions. 1hour dry time then torque it down. Wasn't sure how long to let cure but I gave it 24hrs before I poured new trans fluid. No leaks. Works great.

Very pleased with the quality and reasonable price. AC DELCO OEM replacement part. My car purrs like a kitten again.
