Quick & easy to use USB 3.0 SATA 3 Caddy

Great item. Useful for SSDs & 2.5" hard drives too. USB 3.0 connection, which is backward compatible on older computers. Why not re-use your spare 2.5" drives, which have been ousted by SSDs for backup purposes? As the case is plastic, not metal, I wouldn't leave a drive running in it 24/7 due to the lack of heat dissipation. Perfect for backs and occasional use - and quicker than most SD/USB memory sticks - depending on the drive you have in it.

Don't waste your money.

I took a while to insert the two holders into the mat, but that wasn't a problem. The issue is that it has no grip on the dashboard, so slides all over the place. I had expected better.
