Cable is just what I needed
Feels sturdy, works in both polarities, many other brands do not.

Good backup thermometer
in a bath of ice water reads a little below freezing, and in boiling water, reads 104c. Easy to read, clear immersion line but no instructions. Case is simple serrated square tube
