Orei DA34 DAC works very well for feeding audio (stereo up to 5.1 channels) from my TV optical audio out into (by RCA ) my 2-channel stereo system. Only glitch is occasional noise for a second to two when switching from Digital Recorder input to HD TV input on some occasions. There is no volume control when using HD TV udio out so have to use the amplifier volume for that
At least I don't have have to change the amplifier inputs anymore as I only use one.
The headphone option is another good feature though I'll need a longer lead. Maybe there is a bluetooth dongle that would fit onto the DAC output and do the trick for bluetooth headphones?
