Jesus -- Marcus Borg's Thoughts

The subtitle is "Uncovering the LIfe, Teachings, and Relevance of a Religious Revolutionary." Marcus Borg wrote Conflict, Holiness, and Politics in the Teachings of Jesus in 1984. The book, Jesus, was written in 2006 and provided an update to Jesus: A New Vision, also written in the '80's. Borg's clear writing style and his honest approach to the historical Jesus make this book a "must" for Borg fans. But he goes further with theological viewpoints on God and what does God want. If you don't buy this book, definitely check with your local public library.
