Lightweight but of good quality
Very good product at the right price. With a little care can last forever. Why pay more for a plastic one?

Fine quick release solution
I use it as a quick release solution for L-mount bracket for GH-5. It does the job just fine. No problems yet. I expect some discoloration at the securing point of the plate but nothing to worry about.

Nice lens, quite cheap now
Great lens, a little heavy, focuses well with my 5DmkII. VERY shallow depth of field. Sometimes is difficult to have the theme complete in focus withoutd using flash and f/ 16. Its not the macro lens for all day, thats the 50mm, but can be valuable for live insects and animals, snakes for example. The sarpness is decent. If I had the money I would prefer the OS model, its not only better for the lower speeds you can use, it helps also for composing without the shake.
