Great muscle-soothing bath oil.
Great muscle-soothing bath oil. I used to be able to buy this same Kneipp oil in bottle about twice as big. Now Kneipp USA claims Germany won't ship any size larger than this one. Larger bottle was better value.

Smallest plain paper printer on the market is GREAT!
3 of 3 found this helpful If you are looking for the smallest possible form factor, object to becoming a thermal paper junkie, and won't need to do a lot of multi-page print jobs with your portable, the Canon BJC50 remains the best choice on the market, even in 2006, years after it was first released.
Features include: excellent print quality (b/w or color); infrared capability and great battery life (which largely eliminate the need to lug around power adaptor or any cables whatsoever); decent speed and reliability; and available optional through-feed scanning head. All this in a sleek package (12"x4 1/2"x2") just over half the size of the smallest plain-paper model out there today (Canon iP90).
The primary drawback of this model, manual single-sheet feed, can be overcome by use of the optional add-on sheet-feeder, which only increases the aggregate unit size to about the same as the smallest current Canon or HP portables.
I bought this printer several laptops ago, when infared was in vogue. To adapt it to my modern laptop, I simply bought an inexpensive USB/infrared adaptor (about $30), which is no bigger than a flash drive and plugs directly into the laptop's USB port.
I own the sheet feeder but rarely bother to bring it (or the AC adaptor and cables) with me. On the road, I need the capacity to print (and occasionally scan) conveniently, but not in great quantity. Together with my subnotebook tablet, Sprint phone wireless modem, and myFax service, the BJC50 provides vitually complete office capabilities in an overall physical package no larger than many common desktop replacement laptops alone.
(Let me acknowledge that if size is your ONLY concern, then you should definitely look at the Pentax models. However, their inability to print on plain paper was a deal-breaker for me.)
If you need to travel light, the BJC50 is a printer you should consider. I got many trouble-free years out of my first one, and when it finally developed a problem, I searched high and low for the ideal modern replacement. Cost was not a factor in my search; I simply concluded that the BJC50's unique combination of size and functionality could not be matched by anything currently available.
I picked up a replacement, complete with good battery, extra print cartridges and the sheet feeder, in perfect condition on Ebay for under $100.
