    The Power of Forgiveness
"Think No Evil" was one of those books that change the way that you approach life. This book takes the reader through a unrivaled journey of forgiveness exhibited by people who have every human reason to withhold forgiveness. I enjoyed the fact that Mr. Beiler was not unduly graphic in the depiction of the crime that resulted in 10 little Amish girls being shot while in their school. The book stayed true to its title by not causing us to think evil of the man who committed this act. The forgiveness of the Amish was the heart of the book. Their emotional struggles as they struggle to deal with the senseless nature of the crime and the helplessness of the situation lays the humanity of the Amish before the reader. The humanity of the Amish is eclipsed by their demonstrations of forgiveness for the shooter's wife, children, and parents with divine grace. One of the many great moments of the book is when one of the grandfathers of the slain girls is explaining to the brothers of the girls who have been shot that they are not to think any evil of the shooter. This one incident spoke volumes for the Christlikeness of these Amish people. I would highly recommend this book to every Christian and every person who is struggling to forgive someone. This is a powerful book well worth the read.
